Welcome to KidLit Pop. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the kidlitpop.com website and any related services, including our book review, feature, and newsletter services (together, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who We Are

KidLit Pop is a hub for children's book discovery, helping parents, teachers, and young readers find high-quality, engaging, and diverse stories, and helping authors get their books in front of the right readers.

2. Using the Website

You may browse the Library, read book features, and sign up for the newsletter. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its normal operation, attempt unauthorized access to any part of the Service, or use it to transmit harmful or infringing content.

3. Submitting a Book for Review

Authors and publishers may submit a book for review through our submission form (currently hosted on Google Forms). By submitting a book and its accompanying materials, you make the following confirmations and grant the following permissions to KidLit Pop:

• Rights Confirmation. You confirm that you own, or have the necessary permission to submit, the book, artwork, photographs, videos, and any other materials included in your submission.
• Promotional Use Consent. You authorize KidLit Pop to use the submitted materials in connection with the agreed KidLit Pop review, feature, promotional content, and related publication on KidLit Pop-owned channels (including this website and our social media accounts).
• Media Processing Consent. Where included in your selected package, you authorize KidLit Pop to edit, format, crop, subtitle, animate, or otherwise process the submitted materials for the production of the agreed promotional media.
• Submission Accuracy Confirmation. You confirm that the names, biography, book information, links, awards, works, and other factual information supplied in the submission form are accurate and approved for publication.

You understand that KidLit Pop's review and Pop! Rating are completed independently after submission, and that submitting a book does not guarantee a specific rating, feature placement, or publication timeline.

4. Newsletter

If you opt in to the KidLit Pop newsletter, we will use your email address to send you news, updates, and insights about KidLit Pop. We do not currently offer a self-service unsubscribe link within newsletter emails; to stop receiving the newsletter, please contact us at kidlitpop@gmail.com.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including logos, graphics, and original written content, is the property of KidLit Pop or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Book covers, excerpts, and related materials remain the property of their respective authors and publishers, used here under the permissions described in Section 3.

6. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may link to or rely on third-party services, including our submission form, email delivery provider, and hosting infrastructure. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party service.

7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, KidLit Pop is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect once posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
